Tough Enough

This is my Vermont neighbor, Edla Browne. Edla is 86 years old and lives alone, all year ’round, out here in the boondocks. I snapped this pix this morning while I was out walking Howard. She was shoveling her driveway in her nightgown and slippers at 7 am in the middle of February. I asked her why she doesn’t hire someone else to do it. She said, “I’m doing it.” Enough said, and tough enough!
